Roy, a red-shirt sophomore, is ranked 19th nationally in the latest W.I.N. Magazine top 20 poll at 174 pounds. Roy is 7-2 this season, including a 10-5 win over Indiana’s Brady Richardson. He has won five of his last six matches and owns third-place finishes at the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic and the Navy Invitational.
McGrath, a senior, is ranked 19th at 197 by Intermat. He has won five matches in a row, including a first place finish at the Navy Invitational and a 2-1 win over Pat DeGain, ranked ninth nationally entering the match.
Rutgers is 1-0 this season following its 19-17 win over Indiana on November 30, its first-ever win vs. a Big 10 school. The Scarlet Knights return to action on Saturday, when they compete at the Sheridan Duals vs. Lehigh, Slippery Rock and Lock Haven.
