PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers University assistant wrestling coaches Steve Cassidy and Darren Schulman will run a free clinic for all high school wrestlers and coaches prior to the Scarlet Knights’ home opener with Indiana on Saturday, November 30. The clinic will run from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. and precede RU’s dual match with the Indiana Hoosiers at 7:00 p.m. Both events will take place at the College Avenue Gymnasium.

Cassidy, in his seventh season at Rutgers, graduated from Lehigh University in 1995. He is a two-time All-American at 150 pounds (1993, 1995) and won the EIWA Championship as a senior in 1995. Cassidy served as a team captain during his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, and is second on the Lehigh career records - most overall wins list with a 110-36 record.

Schulman is a 1991 graduate of Syracuse University and a two-time All-American at 142 pounds and the 1990 EIWA Champion. A four-year letterwinner at Syracuse, Schulman compiled a 112-29 career record, and currently holds the Syracuse single-season mark for most wins in a season (46). During his Orangemen years, he also captured the tournament titles at 142 lbs. at the prestigious Midlands and the Wilkes Open tourneys.
