PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 5, 2014) – Season and single-match ticket pricing for the Rutgers wrestling team’s inaugural season in the Big Ten Conference has been announced. The Scarlet Knights enter their first season in the best wrestling league in the nation and will face the likes of four-time defending national champion Penn State and perennial powers Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio State at the RAC in 2015.

Season ticket plans will give fans access to three matches at the College Ave. Gym and four at the RAC, including a free day of wrestling at “The Barn” for the Rutgers Duals on Nov. 2. RU will take on Hofstra, Navy and Princeton in nonconference home action at the College Ave. Gym with dates and times to be announced at a later date.
On Dec. 21, Rutgers will compete in the third annual “Grapple at the Garden” at Madison Square Garden in New York City. All season ticket holders will have the option to add “Grapple at the Garden” tickets to their season ticket package at a cost of either $50 or $35 per ticket based on seating location. The Scarlet Knights have competed at the “Grapple” in each of the last two seasons since its creation in 2012.
RU, which went 11-5 overall and 7-2 in the EIWA in 2013-14, enters its inaugural season in the Big Ten with 13 returning grapplers that earned dual starts, including a handful of highly anticipated redshirts and transfers expected to make key impacts next season. Last season redshirt sophomore 157-pounder Anthony Perrotti (Roseland, N.J.) became the program’s first All-American since 2002 and first in head coach Scott Goodale’s tenure.
