PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Nov. 7, 2013) – After a thrilling, 22-21 victory over Hofstra in the team’s first dual match of the season, the Rutgers wrestling team (1-0, 1-0 EIWA) will send 21 grapplers to compete in the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Binghamton Open on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Binghamton, N.Y.

More than 30 teams will compete Sunday at Binghamton's Events Center, including a mix of EIWA opponents and future Big Ten foes. Seven squads will send their full rosters to the tournament, including No. 1 Penn State, No. 6 Cornell, No. 25 Maryland, Harvard, Princeton, Binghamton and the Scarlet Knights.

Approximately 400 wrestlers will occupy the gym, with 12 mats being utilized throughout the day of competition. Updated brackets for all weights will be posted throughout the day at www.bubearcats.com.

RU will be well represented across all 10 weight classes, with 125, 133 and 165 pounds boasting the most wrestlers with three apiece.
