February-07-04 RU Wrestling Sweeps Maryland, Duke
COLLEGE PARK, MD – The Rutgers wrestling team surrendered just three matches all day in a pair of convincing victories over Maryland and Duke on Saturday at Ritchie Coliseum in College Park, MD. The Scarlet Knights began the day with a 30-3 victory over Maryland then defeated Duke, 28-6, to improve their season record to 7-4 for the season.

January-31-04 Wrestling Edged by Boston University 18-13
BOSTON, MA – The Rutgers wrestling team's late comeback fell short in an 18-13 loss to Boston University on Saturday at Case Gym in Boston, MA. The loss drops the Scarlet Knights to 5-4 in dual action this season, while the Terriers extend their dual meet victory streak to nine and improve to 12-2 on the season.

January-24-04 Rutgers Wrestling Downs Brown, 23-13
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – The Rutgers wrestling team won six of 10 bouts to take a 23-13 victory over EIWA foe Brown on Saturday at the College Avenue Gymnasium in New Brunswick, NJ. With the victory, the Scarlet Knights improve to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in the EIWA.

January-21-04 No. 23 Rider Hands Rutgers Wrestling a 22-12 Loss
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Junior Andy Roy (Wall, NJ) opened with a 10-0 major decision victory at 174 pounds, but No. 23 Rider captured the next five bouts on its way to a 22-12 win over Rutgers in wrestling action tonight in Lawrenceville. With the loss, RU falls to 4-3 overall.

January-17-04 Austin Wins 100th As Rutgers Wrestling Sweeps Tri-Meet
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Senior Greg Austin (Seaville, NJ) became just the ninth wrestler in Rutgers history to reach the 100 win plateau, as he led the Scarlet Knights to a pair of dual meet wins over Franklin & Marshall and Wagner, Saturday at the Collage Avenue Gymnasium.

January-15-04 Rutgers Wrestling Squeaks Past Sacred Heart, 21-19
FAIRFIELD, CT – An undermanned Rutgers wrestling team, which was without two of its starters, pulled out a 21-19 victory over Sacred Heart on Thursday night in Fairfield, CT. With the win, the Scarlet Knights even their dual meet record at 2-2.

January-10-04 RU Wrestling Downed by Navy, 25-10
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – Navy won the first three matches of the day en route to a 25-10 victory over the Rutgers wrestling team on Saturday afternoon in the College Avenue Gym. Rutgers came up short on a number of tightly-contested bouts, as Navy won five matches decided by three points or less.

January-07-04 Newcomers Ajibade and Adamcsik Propel RU Past ESU, 29-10
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – A pair of newcomers to the Rutgers wrestling team – senior transfer Dare Ajibade (Bloomfield, NJ) and freshman Steve Adamcsik (Chester, NJ) – scored a pin and technical fall, respectively, to lead Rutgers to a 29-10 win over East Stroudsburg in RU’s EIWA opener tonight at the College Avenue Gymnasium.

December-30-03 Roy Takes Seventh Place at Midlands Wrestling Championships
EVANSTON, IL – Junior Andy Roy (Wall, NJ) captured seventh place in the 174-pound weight class at the 41st annual Midlands Championships on Tuesday, Dec. 30. The prestigious two-day tournament, held at Northwestern’s Walsh-Ryan Arena in Evanston, IL, is considered by many to be one of the nation’s top wrestling events.
