| New Rutgers wrestling coach Cory Cooperman had every reason to stay at Cornell. He aided the Big Red to a No. 5 finish at the 2009 NCAA Championships. He helped the program produce three Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association and Ivy League team titles, along with 12 All-Americans and two National Champions. |

Goodale to be Inducted into South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers wrestling head coach Scott Goodale has been selected for induction into the 2009 class of the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame, the organization announced Sunday. Goodale and the seven other inductees will be enshrined at the 30th annual induction ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 7. |

| NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Rutgers wrestling head coach Scott Goodale announced the signing of three scholastic standouts – Dan Seidenberg (Raritan, N.J.), Sam Kuntz (Peachtree City, Ga.) and Cullen Isenberg (Stewartsville, N.J.) – during the spring signing period. Rutgers is coming off a school record-breaking 20-win season in dual competition. |

| PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Rutgers wrestling program held its annual awards banquet Sunday afternoon, wrapping up the winningest season in school history “On the Banks.” Redshirt sophomore D.J. Russo (Netcong, N.J.) was the recipient of the Ted Petty Award as the program’s Most Valuable Wrestler for the 2008-09 season.

Cooperman Joins Rutgers Wrestling Coaching Staff |
| PISCATAWAY, N.J.– Rutgers head wrestling coach Scott Goodale has announced the hiring of Cory Cooperman (Ithaca, N.Y.) as an assistant coach. The former Lehigh standout will start May 1. Cooperman is a three-time All-American and three-time Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) champion. |
