Three Former Rutgers Track And Field Standouts Compete At Olympic Trials
Austin, Culley and Marshall join list of Olympic hopefuls for London games

    PISCATAWAY, N.J. (June 22, 2012) – Three former Rutgers women’s track and field standouts, Jen Austin, Julie Culley and Shameka Marshall will compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Eugene, Ore. at Hayward Field. The trio will look to make the Team USA roster for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

    Culley will be the first to compete, running in the 5,000-meter on Monday, June 25, while Austin and Marshall will take part in the field events on Friday, June 29. Austin will compete in the javelin and Marshall in the long jump.
