April-12-03	Rutgers Captures Metropolitan Track Championship
NEW YORK, NY -- The Rutgers women's outdoor track and field won the Metropolitan Championships, hosted by Columbia University, on Saturday, April 12. The Scarlet Knights finished first in the 14-team field with 180 points. Rutgers had nine event champions on the way to the win, with four second-place finishes and three third-place finishes.

PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Julie Culley (Lebanon, NJ) will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete in the 3000M run at the 2003 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The championships, March 14-15, will take place at the Randall Tyson Track Center, hosted by the University of Arkansas.

February-23-03	RU Men Place Fourth, Women 12th at BIG EAST Indoor Championships
SYRACUSE, NY - Led by sophomore David Klics (Lincoln Park, NJ), who placed in the top five in three events, the Rutgers indoor track and field team finished fourth at the 2002 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championships, held this weekend at the Carrier Dome. Klics finished first in the 60m hurdles, second in the pentathlon and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay team, which placed fifth. The RU women finished 12th.
