March 21, 2009 Rutgers Women’s Track and Field Opens Outdoor At Bulls Invitational
TAMPA, Fla. – The Rutgers women’s track and field team began competition for the 2009 outdoor season at the Bulls Invitational on Friday, March 20, on the campus of USF in Tampa. The Scarlet Knights posted several outstanding finishes, getting the campaign started on the right note.

February 21, 2009 Rutgers Track and Field Finishes Day One Of BIG EAST Championship
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Rutgers men's and women’s tack and field teams competed on the first day of the 2009 BIG EAST Indoor Track and Field Championship and sophomore Latoshia Bost (Crofton, Md.) tied the school record in the 500 meter with a time of 1:12.96 as she advanced to Sunday’s finals and also achieved an ECAC qualifying time in the event.

February 19, 2009 Rutgers Women’s Track and Field Heads to NY for BIG EAST Championship
NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Rutgers women’s track and field team will be traveling to N.Y. Saturday Feb. 21 and Sunday Feb. 22 to compete in the BIG EAST Championship. The Scarlet Knights have a total of 16 athletes that qualified individually for the meet with four members seeded in the top eight of the individual events.

BOSTON, Mass. – The Rutgers women’s track and field team traveled to Boston on Feb. 13 to compete in the Valentine’s Day Invitational. The Scarlet Knights finished with nine top-ten finishes as four athletes qualified for the BIG EAST and three secured marks for the ECAC Championships.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Rutgers women’s track and field team traveled to New York on Friday, Feb. 6, competing at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Amory Track and Field Center. Several of the Scarlet Knights achieved qualifying standards for both the BIG EAST and ECAC postseason meets.

Several Scarlet Knights posted solid performances in the season-opener, including a number of qualifying marks for the postseason and eight individual event victories.

July 5, 2008 Olympic Hopefuls Marshall, Culley Fall Short in Bid
EUGENE, Ore.– Former Rutgers All-Americans Shameka Marshall (Mizpah, N.J.) and Julie Culley (Lebanon, N.J.) came up just short in securing a place on Team USA for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The pair of school-record holders posted seventh-place finishes in their respective events at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore.
