PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers men’s track and field standout Greg Ostrowicki (Howell, NJ) has been named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District First Team.

Ostrowicki placed fourth in the BIG EAST Championships decathlon, leading the Scarlet Knights to a fourth place overall finish. He has recorded top-five finishes in five events and had a top-five showing in BIG EAST competition as a freshman. He has been named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star and was a Metropolitan scorer in both the high jump and pentathlon.

The junior finished the fall semester with a 3.938 grade point average in mechanical engineering.
