PISCATAWAY, N.J.  (February 5, 2013) – Rutgers junior Corey Crawford (Oakland, N.J.) was named the BIG EAST Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season, it was announced Tuesday by the conference office.

Crawford finished third in the long jump at the New Balance Invitational last weekend with a mark of 7.61m. The junior beat his own top league mark of 7.60m, and leads the league by .36 meters. Crawford’s jump ranks ninth in the nation.

The Rutgers men’s indoor track & field team returns to action this week at the Valentine’s Invitational on Friday, Feb. 8 in Boston, Mass.
