DES MOINES, Iowa (June 11, 2011) – Rutgers junior high jumper Adam Bergo (Plainfield, N.J.) was named Honorable Mention All-American at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

For Bergo, it was his first appearance at the Outdoor NCAA Championships after qualifying for the indoor championships during his freshman season. A two-time BIG EAST Champion and school-record holder, Bergo earned an All-American certificate by virtue of being one of the top 24 competitors to qualify for the NCAA Championship.
