MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. (March 22, 2014) – Rutgers swimming and diving team members, sophomore Joanna Wu (Kent, Wash.) and senior Nicole Scott (Toronto, Canada), concluded competition at the 2014 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships Saturday evening. Scott capped off her stellar career “On the Banks” by advancing to the finals of the platform event en route to Honorable Mention All-American honors.
Scott notched a score of 286.50 in the prelims to advance to the finals session, where she finished 16th overall with a mark of 252.85 to complete her senior campaign.
Scott is the first Scarlet Knight to earn All-American honors since Shayna Longacre was also named Honorable Mention All-America in 2008.
Wu concluded her first career NCAA appearance with a mark of 1:56.23 in the prelims of the 200 back.
