PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 7, 2013) – The Rutgers swimming and diving team will continue its home schedule this weekend after a bye week. RU welcomes former BIG EAST rivals Villanova, Georgetown and Seton Hall to the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center Friday Nov. 8 for a two-day quad meet.

The Scarlet Knights hosted back-to-back meets at the RU Aquatic Center to open the season and won 25 of 35 events over the two competitions. Most recently, Rutgers welcomed Wagner to Piscataway on Oct. 25 and captured a 181-119 win in its first dual meet of the year.

Senior diver Nicole Scott (Toronto, Canada) has won every single event she has participated in to begin her final campaign “On the Banks.” Fellow fourth-year Scarlet Knight Mary Moser (Wyomissing, Pa.) has posted four first-place individual finishes and has also been a member of four first-place relay teams.

Competition begins on Friday at 4 p.m. with the 200 freestyle relay. The first diving event of the day will be the 3-meter dive, slated for 4:30 p.m. Saturday begins with the 200 medley relay at 10 a.m., while the first diving event will be the 1-meter dive at 10:30 a.m.

Seton Hall enters the weekend after posting a 176-119 win over Providence on Nov. 3. Senior Kerrie Kolackovsky led SHU with three individual wins, ranking first among six Pirates who collected first-place times on the day.

Georgetown most recently defeated Boston College 162.50-135.50 in Washington to close out the month of October. Three Hoyas won two individual events each to pace the hosts in the dual meet.

The Wildcats are the lone team entering the quad-meet following a loss. Villanova dropped a 159-140 decision to UConn on the road on Nov. 2. Sophomore Fiona Hardie earned first place in both the 200 butterfly (2:06.49) and the 100 butterfly (57.15), while classmate Kaisla Kollanus took first in the 50 freestyle (23.83) and the 100 freestyle (52.16).
