BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 10, 2012) – Rutgers sophomore diver Nicole Scott (Toronto, ON, Canada) placed 12th on the three-meter board at the Zone A Diving Championships on Saturday at Alumni Arena Natatorium.

Scott combined for 531.85 points in the preliminaries – which she finished in 10th (279.55) – and the finals (252.30).

Sophomore Valentina Gordon (Metuchen, N.J.) scored 240.15 in her six dives in the preliminary round, finishing 23rd out of 29 participants. Freshman Nicole Honey (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) tallied 217.40 points.

Connecticut’s Danielle Cecco finished first in the event with 643.05 points on the afternoon.

The competition concludes on Sunday with the platform event.
