November-17-03 Former RU Swimmer to Compete at FINA World Cup Meet
PISCATAWAY, NJ - Former Rutgers swimmer Michelle DeFreese has been chosen to represent the U.S. in the FINA World Cup Circuit this winter. She will be a part of the delegation that will compete at the World Cup event in Daejon, Korea, Nov. 24-25, and she is the first Rutgers swimmer in more than 30 years to be chosen to represent the U.S. in an international competition.

PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers women’s swimming and diving team (3-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) got significant contributions from its freshman and defeated Richmond 160-140 to keep its perfect record intact.

November-08-03 Swimming and Diving Sweeps Connecticut
STORRS, CT - The Rutgers men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams both kept their perfect records alive with a sweep of Connecticut and set several pool records at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium. The men’s team (2-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) won 150.5-137.5, while the women (2-0, 2-0 BIG EAST) swam their way to a 153-134 victory.

November-01-03 Swimming and Diving Sweeps West Virginia
PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams each defeated West Virginia in dominant fashion in the first BIG EAST action of the season for both teams. The men won 140-98, while the women topped the Mountaineers 142-91.

October-25-03 RU Swimming and Diving Excels at Sonny Werblin Invitational
PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers swimming and diving team completed its first meet of the year as the Sonny Werblin Invitational drew to a close on Saturday, Oct. 25.

October-24-03 Men's 2003-04 Outlook
This should be the strongest and deepest team in the history of the Rutgers men's swimming and diving program. The team graduated two seniors and will red shirt multi-school record holder and conference champion Sean Smith, however, they will be ably replaced by four freshman swimmers and the return of school record holder Bill Dennis, who redshirted last year.

October-24-03 Women's 2003-04 Outlook
The women's team will be very young this season as ten seniors graduated last spring, costing the women's squad depth, quality national performers and leadership. However, one of the premier swimmers in Rutgers history, Casmera Wick, will be returning for her fifth year and will serve as co-captain.

October-13-03 Swimming and Diving Holds Intersquad Meet
PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams held their annual Black vs. Red intrasquad meet on Saturday, Oct. 11, inside the Sonny Werblin Aquatics Center.

September-26-03 RU Swimming and Diving Announces 2003-04 Schedule
PISCATAWAY, NJ - The Rutgers men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have announced their schedules for the 2003-04 season. Rutgers will compete in eight team events during the season, while participating in five invitationals.
