2007-08 Season Review |
| The Rutgers women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2007-08 season with a 5-4 overall record and a 2-1 mark in BIG EAST action, ending the team's season with a fifth place finish at the 2008 BIG EAST Championships. During the year, five team records were broken, and two swimmers advanced to the Women's NCAA Championships to represent the team in Columbus, Ohio. |

| COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rutgers junior Kasey Kesses (Woodbridge, Conn.) and sophomore Shayna Longacre (Barto, Pa.) completed competition at the 2008 NCAA Division I Championships Saturday at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State University. The women represented the Scarlet Knights throughout three days of competition against a highly talented field. |

Longacre Competes in First Event at NCAA Championships |
| COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rutgers University swimmer Shayna Longacre (Barto, Pa.) swam in her first event at the 2008 NCAA Division I women's swimming and diving championships Thursday afternoon at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State University. Longacre placed 64th in the 200 individual medley as the sophomore touched in with a time of 2:04:27. |

The meet will run from March 20-22. |

| PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Rutgers University women's swimming and diving team is set to compete in the BIG EAST Championship, a four-day meet starting on Feb. 20 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y. This season marks the conference's 28th year for hosting the championships, and the 10th at the Center. |
