Liz Knoeppel continues to work as an assistant athletic trainer with the Scarlet Knights, while also serving as the Physician Extender in the Team Physician's office.
During her first three years at Rutgers, Knoeppel worked with the women’s lacrosse, wemen’s volleyball, football, and women’s rowing teams. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her Masters of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut.
During her two years at UConn, she served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer with the women’s volleyball and softball teams. Originally from West Long Branch, N.J., she now resides with her husband, Gary, in Branchburg, N.J.
