Jason Womack is a board certified Family Medicine and Sports Medicine physician. He received his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University, earning a B.A. in Biology. Dr. Womack then attended UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to receive his MD, and was elected to the of AOA medical honor society. After medical school, he moved to Philadelphia for his residency in family medicine at Thomas Jefferson University where he served as chief resident. Dr Womack completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson and Rutgers in 2007-08 and was then recruited as faculty in the department of family medicine. He serves as Associate Program Director to the Sports Medicine fellowship. Particular interests include all levels of athletics including outdoors activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.
