Corey Pegues
Athletic Trainer

Corey Pegues is in her second season with the Scarlet Knights, overseeing the health care for the Women’s Basketball Program.

From 2002-2005, Pegues was as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at The College of the Holy Cross, working with the women’s basketball and soccer programs. In addition to her duties with her two primary sports, Pegues oversaw the interns, served as the coordinator for the EMTs, assisted with the budget and managed insurance claims.

Prior to her most recent stop in Worcester, MA, Pegues worked for two seasons (2000-2002) at the University of Connecticut as a graduate assistant, serving as the primary athletic trainer for the women’s soccer and lacrosse teams.

Pegues began her career at Holy Cross in 1998 as an intern, working with women’s soccer, field hockey, women’s ice hockey, softball and men’s and women’s swimming & diving.

Pegues received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, with an emphasis in athletic training, from the University of New Hampshire in 1998. A native of New Milford, CT, she earned a master’s in allied health, with an emphasis in health care management, at Connecticut in 2002.

Corey and her husband, Juan, reside in North Brunswick.
