Chris is entering his eighth year as an Athletic Trainer at Rutgers University, providing medical coverage for the Men’s Soccer, Men’s Lacrosse, and Women’s Tennis teams. Chris also coordinates and oversees the ImPACT Baseline Concussion Testing Program for the Rutgers student-athletes. Since arriving at Rutgers, Chris has worked with Wrestling and the Men’s and Women’s Indoor & Outdoor Track teams, while also assisting with in-season football coverage.
Prior to working at Rutgers University, Chris was an Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer at Baldwin-Wallace College in conjunction with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Chris also was a certified athletic trainer at Midview High School as part of the Cleveland Clinic’s outreach sports medicine program. He has also worked as a seasonal intern with the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Chris is a 1994 graduate of the University of Cincinnati and received his Masters in Health Education from Ashland University in 2000. He is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is an adjunct instructor for the Exercise Science Department at Rutgers University.
An NATA Certified Athletic Trainer since 1995, Chris and his wife Jeannie reside in Lebanon, NJ.
