Staff
Dr. Cohen is a specialist in Internal (Adult) Medicine and Sports Medicine who has been at Rutgers University since 2000. Dr. Cohen did his undergraduate work at Yale University where he graduated with honors. He returned to New Jersey for medical school, and graduated from UMDNJ-RWJ - again with honors. He then completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine and headed out west for a fellowship in Sports Medicine at UCLA. While in California, he served as the team physician for baseball and women's soccer and was on the medical staff of the USA weight lifting team. At Rutgers University, Dr. Cohen splits his time between the Hale Center where he treats Rutgers students-athletes and the Hurtado Health Center (where he sees both general medical problems and injuries). Dr. Cohen and his wife, Danielle, are the proud parents of two children.
