HOW TO ACCESS THE RUTGERS SPORT PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM

For student-athletes

1. A student-athlete who wants to participate in the Rutgers Sport Psychology Program is encouraged to contact the Department of Sports Medicine (732-445-6258).

2. Based on this initial contact, the student-athlete then is invited to meet with one of the members of the professional staff of the program

3. At this meeting, the student-athlete’s needs and interests will be discussed and then it will be determined what area of the program is best suited for the individual.

For coaches and support staff

1. A coach or support staff member who wants to either refer a student-athlete or their team to the program should contact the Director of Sports Medicine or one of the staff of the program.
