Services The Sports Medicine Department uses medical providers outside of the university network. The Team Physician and Sports Medicine Department have developed strong relationships with medical specialists in a variety of fields, around the tri-state area. Athletes, by referral only, may be sent to an orthopaedic surgeon, chiropractor, massage therapist, cardiologist, neuropsychologist, physical therapist, or a specialty surgeon. The Team Physician uses the providers listed below for most dental, vision, and foot care referrals, such as custom mouthguards, eye exams, and custom orthotics. If an appointment is needed with one of these physicians, please contact the Team Physician or your athletic trainer for a referral. If a student-athlete receives treatment from one of these providers without an appropriate referral from the Team Physician, then the visit will not be covered by athletics. • Dentistry • Optometry • Orthopaedics 215 Easton Ave 211 N.
