ROSEMONT, ILL. – Redshirt senior Julian Pinnix-Odrick of the football team and senior Tori Prager of the women’s soccer team were honored by the Big Ten Conference as Rutgers University's Outstanding Sportsmanship Award winners, the league announced Wednesday.

The communication major also achieved in the classroom with recognition on the conference academic team four times, including taking Academic All-Big Ten status in each of the past three years. In addition, Pinnix-Odrick is credited with mentoring younger teammates and representing the program in a positive light.

Prager started all 23 games as a midfielder and team captain in 2016. The Mount Laurel, New Jersey, native was a part of the second senior class in program history to advance to four consecutive NCAA Tournaments, helped the team to three conference finals, and won nearly 60 matches.

Overall, Prager started 47 matches and played in 87 as a Scarlet Knight, tallying nine points in her career (2g, 5a). Her total of 87 career matches played is tied for seventh in the Rutgers’ record books.
