Rutgers field hockey dropped its Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal matchup on Thursday afternoon, falling 3-1 to top-seeded Maryland.
Rutgers redshirt senior Alyssa Bull was recognized by the conference Wednesday as she was named Second Team All-Big Ten. Senior back Devon Freshnock was also recognized as the team’s sportsmanship honoree.

Rutgers field hockey closed out its home schedule with a win Sunday on Senior Day, downing Richmond 2-0. The Scarlet Knights (9-7, 2-5) got goals for a pair of freshmen in Nikki Santore and Katie Larmour, and a shutout in net from senior Shevaun Hayes.
Senior Rachel Yaney scored her 21st career goal but Rutgers fell 4-1 to No. 6 Penn State in a Big Ten Conference contest.
