PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers men's lacrosse junior defenseman Michael Rexrode added a postseason accolade Sunday night, as he was named a Third Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse.
Rexrode, previously recognized as First Team All-Big Ten Player, led the conference with 23 caused turnovers. He also scooped 28 ground balls.
The Leesburg, Va. native has started in all 40 of his career games player "On the Banks." He was twice named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week this season, and was named a First Team All-American in Inside Lacrosse's midseason list.
Inside Lacrosse's inaugural All-American list was announced on ESPNU at halftime of the Syracuse-Yale NCAA Tournament game. The full list of All-Americans from the USILA will be announced at a later date.
