2014: Started all 13 games at defensive end ... one of just 24 student-athletes nationally to earn First Team Academic All-America status (12/4) ... joined Nathan Jones (2003) as Scarlet Knights to earn first-team honors ... named one of three finalists nationally for the Lee Roy Selmon Community Spirit Award (11/19) and attended banquet in Tampa ... earned Scholar-Athlete Award (highest GPA on the team) for the second consecutive year and Defensive Line MVP at the team banquet (12/14) ... a semifinalist for NFF Campbell Trophy (9/25) ... named to the Big Ten All-Academic Team (12/10), picking up conference honor for the fourth time ... nominated to AFCA Good Works Team (7/21) ... active in serving the community ... totaled a career-best 57 tackles in final collegiate season, most among defensive lineman ... second on the defense with nine tackles-for-loss ... registered four sacks, two pass break-ups and two forced fumbles throughout the year ... had seven solo tackles in the Quick Lane Bowl (12/26) win against North Carolina ... had a tackle-for-loss versus the Tar Heels ... credited with nine stops and a sack at Michigan State (11/22) ... had six solo tackles with one for a loss in win versus Indiana (11/15) ... two solo stops versus Wisconsin (11/1) ... notched six tackles at Nebraska (10/25) ... totaled seven stops at Ohio State (10/18), tied for the game lead ... four tackles and one hurry in win over Michigan (10/4) ... picked up two sacks with another half tackle-for-loss at Navy (9/20), adding a forced fumble ... recorded four tackles, two pass break-ups and three quarterback hurries versus Penn State (9/13) ... totaled six tackles, two for loss, one sack and one forced fumble in win over Howard (9/6) ... made start at defensive end and recorded a tackle-for-loss in win at Washington State (8/28) ... entered the season on the depth chart capable of playing all four positions on the defensive line ... voted a captain by his teammates (8/12) ... won the Frank R. 2013: Appeared in all 13 games, starting one ... totaled 34 tackles and two fumble recoveries ... recipient of the R Man Courage Award - given to the player who best demonstrates courage, belief, strength and inspiration to all - and the Scholar-Athlete Award - given to the player with the team's highest GPA - at team banquet ... produced three tackles against Notre Dame in the Pinstripe Bowl (12/28) ... four tackles (three solo) in road game versus UCF (11/21) ... recorded seven tackles in first career start versus Cincinnati (11/16) ... totaled two stops and recovered a fumble at Louisville (10/10) ... made four tackles at SMU (10/5) with one sack ... in on two tackles versus Arkansas (9/21) ... assisted on five tackles versus Eastern Michigan (9/14) ... assisted on a tackle in win over Norfolk State (9/7) ... picked up three tackles, one fumble recovery and one pass break-up in season opener at Fresno State (8/29) ... returned to action in summer camp after overcoming third knee surgery, last playing in 2011 ... named to American Athletic Conference All-Academic Football Team.
