PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers softball’s Andria Koehler (Sellersville, PA) has been selected to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District II University Division Softball First Team, her second consecutive year earning the honor.
The senior pitcher (13-8) just ended her four-year career as a Scarlet Knight with a shutout against BIG EAST Champion Notre Dame on May 4, in South Bend, IN. She finishes her season with a 2.79 ERA in 145.1 innings pitched with 16 complete games, five shutouts and one save.
Koehler leaves Rutgers with a record of 39-33 and a 2.53 ERA in 99 appearances and has a 3.896 GPA in environmental planning and design.
Koehler, the team co-MVP, will advance to the national ballot, making her eligible to be named an academic All-American.
