What is your favorite part of being on this team?
“I definitely love my teammates. I met some of my best friends here and just hanging out with them is great.”
Did having so many other players from California help ease your transition?
“Me and Aubrie went to high school together so it was nice having somebody you’re already so comfortable with so you don’t have to be in a completely new place.”
Was there an adjustment you had to make to the East Coast?
“Yes. I’m a very family-oriented person so it was really hard coming here and leaving my family. It was also hard to get used to the cold.”
Do you prefer the East Coast or West Coast?
“I’m going to say the West Coast just because it’s so much warmer.”
What are your hobbies when you’re not playing softball?
“I love to go camping with my family. We all have motor homes so we just travel and go camping places. I also like going to the beach.”
What is your best softball memory?
“My senior year of high school we beat our rival school Esperanza. It was like an 11-inning game.”
What is your favorite part of campus?
“I know that everyone said the dining hall but that’s literally the only place we go – we just sit in the dining hall for hours.”
