What’s your favorite part about playing softball?
“The passion that comes with it. Being able to have a team on my back as a pitcher is fun.”
What are the pressures of being a pitcher like?
“It is a lot of pressure but having teammates that count on me makes me feel very good about myself when I get the job done.”
Game day superstitions or rituals?
“I wear a ribbon with a braid going into a pony tail and I lick my hand before every pitch and wipe it on my jersey.”
What does it mean to play in your home state as opposed to going away to school?
“Since Rutgers is such a big in-state school, my family loves Rutgers. My uncle actually went here and became a lawyer from this school. Being that it’s only an hour away from home it’s the perfect environment for me.”
What’s your favorite part thing about campus?
“I live on Livingston and I like the dining hall and being on the same campus as the softball field and the workout facilities. It was a nice start for a freshman.”
How have you developed since joining the team?
“I learned a lot of what I needed to learn and it helped me develop as a player and as a person.”
What’s your favorite hobby when not playing softball?
“I like to Snap Chat and go tanning.”
