PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Nov. 4, 2009) – The Rutgers women’s soccer team stands at No. 12 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll after falling in the BIG EAST Quarterfinals, 1-0, to West Virginia.
The Scarlet Knights previously sat at No. 9 in the NSCAA Poll – the highest ranking in program history. RU earned a spot in its 10th-straight BIG EAST Championship. Rutgers – 13-3-4 overall with a 7-1-3 mark in BIG EAST play – awaits a NCAA Tournament at-large bid.
