  • PISCATAWAY, NJ – Junior Danae Risoli (Hillsborough, NJ) scored off an assist from sophomore Tierney Brady (Brick, NJ) to lift the Rutgers women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory against Princeton April 16 in the Scarlet Knights’ third match of the spring season. The Tigers advanced to the national semifinals of the 2004 NCAA Championship.

    Rutgers will finish its spring schedule Friday, April 22, against FC Bucks.
    That match will start at 7:30 p.m. on the field located behind the Rutgers Softball Complex in Piscataway. In previous spring matches, RU defeated Seton Hall 1-0 April 7 and lost 2-0 against Penn State April 16.

    Rutgers finished the season with a 9-10-1 mark overall and a 4-5-1 record in conference play, advancing to the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament.
