  • PISCATAWAY, NJ – Sophomore Kim Mineo (Glen Rock, NJ) scored a first-half goal off an assist from classmate Domenique Esposito (Rivervale, NJ) to lift the Rutgers women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory against visiting Seton Hall April 7 in the Scarlet Knights’ first match of the spring season.

    Rutgers will play three additional matches as part of its spring training schedule – Saturday, April 9, against Penn State at Hershey Park (PA); Saturday, April 16, against Princeton in North Rockland, NY; and Friday, April 22, against FC Bucks in Piscataway.

    Rutgers finished the season with a 9-10-1 mark overall and a 4-5-1 record in conference play, advancing to the quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament.
