PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 1, 2013) – The Rutgers women’s soccer team was ranked No. 26 in the latest Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) rankings, released by the NCAA.
The Scarlet Knights (8-2-1, 1-1 AAC) split their opening weekend of conference play and continue their league schedule Friday against Memphis (7-4, 0-2). With three points after the first weekend, RU is currently in fourth place behind UCF (8-2-1, 1-0), which received a No. 14 ranking in this week’s RPI.
Rutgers welcomes Memphis “To the Banks” Friday for a 7 p.m. match. The meeting is the first-ever between the two schools and marks “Youth Team Night,” as the squad will participate in a post-match autograph session for fans.
