Chicago (October 5, 2012) – Forward Jonelle Filigno (Mississauga, ON, Canada) buried a score just 38 seconds into overtime, giving Rutgers women’s soccer a 1-0 win over DePaul Friday afternoon at Wish Field. For the game, RU and DPU tied in shots (10), but the Scarlet Knights were able to put six on frame. Senior goalkeeper Emmy Simpkins (Concord, N.C.) made two saves in the shutout win.
