PISCATAWAY, N.J. (July 28, 2012) – Former Rutgers All-American Carli Lloyd scored in her third-consecutive Olympic game Saturday, as the U.S. Women’s National Team guaranteed a spot in the quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over Colombia.
Lloyd, who scored the game-winner in the 4-2 win over France, was back in the starting lineup against Colombia.
The U.S. has one group game remaining against North Korea in Manchester on Tuesday, a match that will help determine the semifinal pairings.
