PISCATAWAY, NJ – Senior All-American Carli Lloyd (Delran, NJ) scored in the 106th minute to lift Rutgers (4-2) to a 2-1 double-overtime victory against Michigan State (6-1) Sept. 12 at the Rutgers Classic. In the day’s first match, No. 12 Santa Clara (2-2-1) defeated Rhode Island (2-4) 6-0.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Sophomore Domenique Esposito (Rivervale, NJ) struck a 25-yard blast into the upper left-hand corner to lift Rutgers (3-2) to a 1-0 upset of No. 12 Santa Clara (1-2-1) Sept. 10 at the Rutgers Classic. In the evening’s first match, Michigan State (6-0) defeated Rhode Island (2-3) 2-1.

PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Scarlet Knight women’s soccer team (2-2) will host the Rutgers Classic this weekend at Yurcak Field, taking on No. 12 Santa Clara (1-1-1) Friday, Sept. 10, at 8:00 p.m. and Michigan State (5-0) Sunday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 p.m.
