PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 23, 2013) – The 2013 MLS season is underway and several former Rutgers men’s soccer standouts are already making an impact in the early part of the season.
Nick LaBrocca – Colorado Rapids – LaBrocca has started the last four games for the Rapids and made six appearances overall thus far in the 2013 campaign. He has recorded eight shots and an assist. His assist on the game-winner in Colorado’s 1-0 victory over Real Salt Lake helped to give the Rapids their first victory of the 2013 season.

Dilly Duka – Chicago Fire – Duka has started in three of his five appearances with the Fire to-date in 2013. In Chicago’s home opener against the New England Revolution, the Rutgers product had an opportunity on goal thwarted late in the first half. Peter Vermes – Sporting Kansas City – Vermes, in his fifth year as manager and seventh season technical director, has helped to lead his squad to a 4-2-2 overall mark and top the Eastern Conference standings.
