PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 10, 2012) – The Rutgers men’s soccer match, previously scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29, has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. The contest will also be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
The Scarlet Knights will open the 2012 regular season on Friday, Aug. 24, hosting Fordham at 8 p.m. RU will host seven opponents at Yurcak Field in 2012, while facing eight on the road, including matches against five squads that qualified for the NCAA Tournament a year ago. All home games will be streamed live on RVision, presented by AT&T via www.ScarletKnights.com.
Fans can get their first glimpse of the 2012 Scarlet Knights on Tuesday, Aug. 14, for an exhibition game against Colgate at 5:30 p.m. Rutgers defeated Colgate in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2011. Admission to Yurcak Field is free.
