RU Pair Reaches Henley Regatta Semifinals

  • HENLEY, ENGLAND – Rutgers juniors Christopher Sullivan (Northfield, NJ) and David Wells (Princeton, NJ) made it to the semifinals in the coxless pairs race at the Henley Royal Regatta on July 1.

    Rutgers defeated Harvard in the first round of competition by two boat lengths to advance to the semifinal In the semifinal, RU fell to Princeton, who went on to win the final.

    RU’s heavyweight team will compete on July 4 in the Ladies Plate Challenge. There are eight crews competing in the event, with three teams hailing from the United States. First round competition is selected from a random drawing, with the Scarlet Knights taking on Dartmouth at a time to be determined.
