  • PRINCETON, NJ – The No. 15 Rutgers heavyweight crew upset No. 10 Yale May 3 on Lake Carnegie.

    Oregon State won the varsity eight race (6:09.0), ahead of Rutgers (6:13.13) and Yale (6:23.00). Rutgers is ranked 15th, Yale is 10th and Oregon State is 12th in the latest USRowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Men’s Varsity Eights Poll (April 30).

    The Scarlet Knights will next be in action Sunday, May 11, when Rutgers competes at the EARC Championships in Worcester, MA.
