  • PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Rutgers heavyweight crew competed for a second straight day March 30, defeating Georgetown in all four races on the Raritan River.

    The Scarlet Knights, ranked 20th in the USRowing Preseason Men’s Collegiate Varsity Eight Poll, won the varsity eight with a time of 5:31. The second varsity (5:41), freshmen (5:49) and varsity four (6:38) also were winners in the cold, windy conditions that included rain and snow showers.

    Rutgers will next be in action Saturday, April 5, when the Scarlet Knights host Princeton to decide the Logg Cup.
