  • NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – The No. 16 Rutgers heavyweight crew fell short in its bid to win the Bill Cup, losing to No. 10 Dartmouth and No. 13 Boston University on the Raritan River April 16.

    The Big Green won the varsity eight race (6:03.6) for the Bill Cup, followed by BU (6:08.2) and Rutgers (6:12.4). The Scarlet Knights won the second freshman eight (6:37.8) event, finished second in the freshman eight
    (6:24.3) and were third in the second varsity eight (6:23.2).

    Rutgers will be back in action Sunday, April 17, when the Scarlet Knights host Georgetown at 3:30 p.m. on the Raritan River.
