  • ITHACA, NY – The Rutgers lightweight men’s crew split with Cornell and Princeton in the varsity eight race for the Platt Cup April 16 on the Lake Cayuga Inlet in Ithaca, NY.

    The Scarlet Knights (5:53.0) finished behind Cornell (5:48.9) and ahead of Princeton (6:00.2) in the varsity eight race. The Rutgers second freshman eight (6:26.2) earned a victory, while the second varsity eight (6:19.4) and the freshman eight (6:21.0) both placed third.

    The Scarlet Knights will be back in action Saturday, April 23, at Dartmouth against Yale and the Big Green for the Durand Cup.
