Lightweights Fall to Penn in Lev Brett Cup Race

  • PRINCETON, NJ – The Rutgers lightweight men’s crew competed against Penn in three races on Lake Carnegie April 3 in Princeton. The races, originally scheduled for the Raritan River in New Brunswick, were moved due to weather conditions.

    In the race for the Lev Brett Cup, the varsity eight (5:47.0) fell to Penn (5:42.8). The Scarlet Knights won the second varsity eight race (5:48.6), and lost in the freshman eight (6:06.1).

    The Rutgers lightweights will return to action Saturday, April 9, against Columbia and Navy on the Harlem River.
