OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (July 17, 2014) – Rutgers rowing junior Shannon Haines (Fairfax, Va.) has qualified for the women’s intermediate 1x A final of the 2014 USRowing Club National Championships, hosted by the Oak Ridge Rowing Association. The championship heat will take place Friday, July 18 at 11:48 a.m. on Melton Hill Lake and will be broadcast live online.
Haines is one of six finalists in her event and will represent Resilient Rowing Club in lane six. The WT Woodson HS (Va.) product rowed on the Scarlet Knights’ First Varsity 8 last season as a sophomore.
