PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 11, 2013) – The Rutgers rowing team will compete in its first race of the fall season on Saturday, Oct. 12, when the Scarlet Knights travel to Philadelphia, Pa. for the Navy Day Regatta.
The regatta is one of two meets away from New Jersey this fall, as RU will head to Boston, Mass. next weekend to compete in the Head of the Charles.
“The fall season will give us an excellent race experience, competing against a lot of the top-level teams,” said head coach Max Borghard.
RU will return to New Jersey on Oct. 27 for the Princeton Chase. The Scarlet Knights will then close out the fall with consecutive Garden State races, competing at the Collegiate Small Boats Regatta on Nov. 3 in West Windsor, N.J. and returning to race “On the Banks” at the Rutgers Classic on Nov. 9.
