    West Windsor, N.J. (May 19, 2013) – Led by junior Stephanie Ford (Nutley, N.J.) on the first team, three Rutgers rowers earned All-BIG EAST honors, the conference announced Sunday afternoon following the championship regatta.

    Ford – a three-year varsity eight boat member – was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team. Freshman Shannon Haines (Fairfax, Va.) and junior Raelyn Loiselle (Tampa, Fla.) were both selected as All-BIG EAST Second Team members.

    The Scarlet Knights took fourth at the BIG EAST Championship with 94 points. Notre Dame won its 10th-straight BIG EAST title with 151 points. Louisville followed and Syracuse ranked third overall.

    The varsity eight ranked fourth in the grand final with a time of 7:19.816, besting Georgetown by less than one second. The RU V4 took fifth in the grand final with a time of 8:34.874. The second varsity eight crossed in 7:43.94 to take fifth overall.
