PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers Football fans attending Saturday’s season opener versus Michigan State should be aware of new traffic patterns when traveling to Rutgers Stadium.
Scarlet Parking Passes: Access the Scarlet lot via River Road and Sutphen Road;
Green Parking Passes: Access the Green lot via River Road and Sutphen Road;
Blue Parking Passes: Access the Blue lot via River Road and Hoes Lane West;
If your parking plans do not include the Scarlet, Green or Blue lots, you are strongly encouraged to avoid River Road and utilize alternate routes, including I-287 exits South Randolphville Road, Possumtown Road or Centennial Avenue.
Brown Parking Passes: Access the Brown lot via Route 18 to Campus Road exit
and turn LEFT onto Sutphen Road;
White Parking Passes: Access the White lot via Route 18 to Campus Road exit
and turn LEFT onto Sutphen Road;
Yellow Parking Passes: Access the Yellow lot via Route 18 to Campus Road exit;
Purple Parking Passes: Access the Purple lot via Route 18 to Campus Road exit
to Bartholomew Road;
Fans without parking passes should follow the signs to the Rutgers Athletic Center for Football General Parking ($8.00 per car), where free shuttle bus service will transport you to and from Rutgers Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to allow additional travel time to Rutgers Stadium and the surrounding parking areas in order to see the opening kickoff during the ongoing Route 18 construction project.
